Is the media information provided relevant and recent?Yes, it is reviewed and updated on a daily basis.

Am I able to view a list of all the media we have available in South Africa without logging on?Yes you can, simply by clicking on the Media Landscape tab at the top of the page you will be directed to a list which details the type and amount of print, broadcast and online media available in South Africa. Keep in mind, that this tab is available to be accessed both when you’ve logged out and when you’ve logged in

Am I able to conduct more in-depth searches or searches where I can refine my search criteria?Yes you are, simply by clicking on the Advanced Search button, a wide range of search criteria will appear allowing you to refine your search criteria. In addition to this, more than one value can be selected for a specific search criterion. For example, you can now search for target ages between 25 and 34 as well as between 35 and 49.

Can I create a list of media I would like to contact for a specific campaign?Yes, this is exactly what the Media Lists feature allows. Simply by creating your very own personalised media list, you can then add, edit and delete specific media contacts as and when required.

Can I create a list of contact names I would like to contact for specific campaigns?Yes, the new Contact Groups feature allows you to assemble groups of people enabling you to contact these individuals quickly and easily.

Do I manually have to add contacts from my Outlook address book to Target Media?No, we now have a brand new feature that allows you to import ALL of your contacts directly from Outlook, which means that you don’t have to tediously add them yourself. They will all be on Target Media ready for you to email!

Can I add attachments to my emails sent from Target Media?Yes, we allow for attachments as big as 2MB to be attached to emails.

Is it possible to view the topics that particular publications cover?Yes, that is what our Engagement Opportunities feature does. At Target Media, we assess and categorise all publications according to its content profile. This then highlights the different markets that can be reached based on the topics covered by the publication. We also provide a rating or ranking of all the engagement opportunities, so if a publication mainly focuses on News, then a 1 will appear next to this category.

Can I export or print media lists?Yes you can, you can export your media lists at any time into three different formats: .PDF, a Word document or an Excel spreadsheet.

Do we provide contact details for journalists?Unfortunately we do not, but, we do provide extensive contact details for editors, publishers, distributors, advertisers, and more.

What does the Data Source category under the Demographics tab state?This category lets you know if the demographic percentages obtained is in relation to the publications readership or in relation to the country’s population.
